Got a report from a mate that lives up that way that he landed 12 barra from 50 - 60cm the other week... The water levels are still very low but obviously the new fingerlings are growing nicely.... I fished back there in feb 06 and it was a great fishery, me and the old man landed 8 barra in the afternoon... So hopefully the water levels don't drop to much again for the fish to survive.... Also a lot of monster bass and yellas in there too....

great to hear i was there at chrissy but couldnt get the boat in as the bank was too steep very dissapointing will go back with a yak next time

mate just a 4wd is recommended i think, not to many dramas tho.....
