Hit coochy at 7 am for a flick and not much more than a few shy hits on the 7 inch plastics so dropped in size and nothing so shot over to potts point and boy i have never seen so many bait fish just swiming until they get eaten by large preditors. I was told that i wouldn't get a hit by a local netting at viccy point boat ramp by the amount of bait fish and i would like to believe him even though a 73 cm was caught on saturday. I pittered the whole area for nothing but small touches on all sizes until 9 am. To see so much bait fish around and no fish in sight it was wierd. A cobia followed my new devil fish bushy vibe but then saw the boat and pulled out (lucky on my 6 pound leader i think) I recond all the snapper are all sitting on the bottom full and on there backs not able to go one more feed.lol. Beatiful day until the wind picked up. My favourite weather for snapps and not even a touch is wierd. I couldn't see any birds working at peel so it was back to the ramp flicking for brim on the way back. You get days like that eh. Tore the battery off the leccy to which didn't help with my hunt. Better luck next time. Cheers

I tried Potts on Sat for much the same result. Nothing seemed to be getting stuck into the bait we saw.

Bad luck mate, but I'm sure the next trip will be better. If it was easy all the time everybody would be getting into it. I found the same around wello/cleveland this morning. Lots of bait balls on the sounder but not much chasing them
