Be watching channel 10 news ( Brisbane ) from 5pm today , Friday 27th Feb.
SOBA President , Chris Ryan and myself met with reporter Mark Suleau ( spelling ) today and conducted an interview regarding the impending Moreton Bay Marine Park Zonings.
Chris spoke well and honestly about the situation.
See his mug on the Tele tonight.
Cheers Phill

Poor camerman didn't have much to work with! To fit me in the frame, he ended up about half mile away :)

I havn't fished the bay for a lot of years ,but I would like to thank Chris and Lucky Phil for the effort being put in to reeducate these misguided dogooders trying to take away our fishing areas in the name of science .
Thanks guys for your efforts .

You might be able to stream it off their website mate. I can record on my TV but not sure how to get it off onto a USB etc. Might have to read the manual.... :)

Well the story started well, we got our point through, the rally was promoted so all good. Just a little miffed about the end of their story, but we fight on with good publicity.

I hated that bit at the end about "Green Zones work". Where? Who's research? Reviewed by whom? What were the pollution levels?
Bullsh!t and very bad journalism.

Its all about mud crabs......by the same guy whos "expert" opinion helped close the place, and its all about the OLD zoning, not relevant for the new zoning. If anything it proved that the OLD zoning around Peel Island was fine and didnt need to change!!!!!
Any publicity is good publicity.
