What is the best way/tackle to hook a Gulp Peeler Crab soft plastic?

Any particular species seem to favour these among others?

by the shape of them they look like a weedless jighead or hidden weight,, like used on s/p frogs......

I have some of those.
My wife thought they were cute so she had to buy them.

Personally i haven't used them but i have watched a video where they used a normal jig head and rigged it through the side so it moves sideways as a crab does. make sense i suppose.

The vid said they can catch flatties, bream in rocky areas as well as others.

Yeah mate, like neil has said, rig them sideways. The 2 inch ones have caught me a few legal snaps and a legal tusky. They will spin on retrieval, so I tend to drift and deadstick them.

These sound good. I am guessing you'd have to rig them from the side like the other guys have said. Saw some on sale for $1 a pack yesterday.
