anyone got one of these of there reels yet? i bought one today and cant read the japanese instructions and found limited info on installing. i did find a site which states you need to use the spacer out of the original knob....
i have it fitted but the bearing in my original knob has seized (or i broke it when changing over) so it just sits on there and doesnt move..:-/ :-/
emailed jun at japan tackle hoping he'd shed some light, has anyone else tried this???42509
EDIT: checked out japan tackle a bit more, think i need a replacement bearing plus one other bearing.... anyone know anyone on the gold coast or qld that can help?

:( anyone?
Check out any bearing suppliers, they usually can match any bearing you bring in to them and the second bearing should be the same size. tell them what it is for and they will go to the right parts book pretty quickly.
you could try Ray and Anne's superstore (http://www.rayannes.com.au/contact-us/) in Adelaide, they sell a few RCS parts online, just send them an email with what you need as not everything is listed on the site. They sell the knob you're trying to fit.
Cheers Roo.

got a hold of daiwa service today, they said it should fit fine and need no extra bearing or spacers.... they said it could only be (assuming i had assembled correct) bearing...
so i pulled it back apart and deciphered the japanese drawings :-P and checked the bearing, it is seized so i tried to free it up to no avail sprayed some lube on it and put it back on. The bearing is still not spinning but it is rotating around the shaft.
I'll have to get a proper ruler to measure it as it looks like 5mm wide on the outside and bugger all in the middle, ill reaserch the size and see how i go, otherwise i'll send you a pm and see if you can help, cheers
