thats 285 US, so it'd be close to 500 AUD. But still very cheap. But I do notice that it is the 'FA' model which has now been superceeded by the "SW", so maybe just a case of clearing old stock?

I wish i hadnt looked. Gets me drooling. Nice Certate there as well and a 5000 stella. I did notice though they have a minimum order of $750. In US $ thats getting to be way too risky for me. If you give them a go Spears let us know if it was a donation or if your parcel arrives and alls good.

Get a few people together and minimise the risk perhaps?
Could be clearing stock due to the crisis

If the prices are so attractively low , don't you think the Indonesian anglers would have cleaned up the stocks ? I suggest proceed with CAUTION . :o
Jon .
You could replace one of your old Stella's Jon ;) ;D

Don't get conned !!
Indonesia has a massive reputation for internet scams, trust me I know alot about internet trading.
In general, they prey on peoples greed !!DON'T DO IT !!
his website was registered in November 2008, it's not showing up in scam forums yet.
They usually have back up site names, when they get busted they shut down and re-open with a new URL.
A common scam is to operate out of USA and sell through an indonesian address.
Or buy from the US and have it shipped to indonesia.
The IP address for this site is in USA.
Indonesian customs is rife with corruption (under the table bribes to do import or export)
40% discount IMPOSSIBLE *****DON'T DO IT******

Do the research before buying, using a CC will cover you??
Absolutely not !
A charge back is only good if you are dealing with a professional business.
PayPal and Credit cards are NOT insurance
The way it works is.
You pay by PayPal or CC, the transaction is reversed at the card holders or or PayPal holders request for what ever reason.
The scammer takes the funds for the transaction into a nominated bank account, this takes 2 - 3 days
Your posted items take at least 7 days to arrive (That gives the crook 4 days to clear out the bank accout) set up in a country that does not have a legal system that gives a toss about westerners loosing money to scams.
**If the CC or PayPal cannot retrieve the funds from the receiver
**YOU DO NOT GET IT BACK**
For eg. Your CC gets stolen and they buy a car, you report it stolen, the CC company sues the car dealer for not checking the ID of the buyer.
If the car dealer declares bankruptcy, YOU pay the bill..
The scammer makes a quick $1000 - $2000, then bolt. Then open another series of URL, bank and paypal accounts, from a different IP address and start again.
In Australia alone for the year 2008, 2.4 billion dollars was lost on internet fraud (reported)
Every sign is on this site that points to SCAM
1. The age of the website
2. The country
3. The IP adress does not match
4. Loose contact info
5. Cheaper than wholesale with incentive for a 40% discount, if you spend more and more.
6. They are selling expensive well known brand names only.
I have seen many of these sites come and go, they all have similarities to above.
PLUS most if not all reputable brands are brand protected. That means you cannot legaly import it, or export unless it is by a registered/ authorised distributor.
I cannot stress enough THIS IS 100% A SCAM.

The photographs of the reels are stolen from ebay auctions. I spotted 5 photos that I had previously saved on my hard disk when I was researching. If he stole 5, I have no reason not to believe all the other photos are stolen from ebay auctions as well.

The indo sellers are scammers... If you don't believe me go look at alibaba.com...type in any top line reels like shimano stella or daiwa saltiga... and look at the list of international sellers. They are all indo wholesalers?????
Then they list the address and phone number of the the warehouse...try ringing... obviously you never get an answer...
Also you can run a search on scam sites and most are indo origin...
so in short...STAY THE F@#K AWAY... the bastards want your money...
