What oil/grease for service

What is the best oil or grease to use when servicing reels. (I have daiwa baitcasters).

Daiwa do a lube.. $10~ per tube. Seems alright.

Hi I just use shimano oil that comes in a little bottle that I got for about $8 from a tackle shop.

I use Sewing Machine oil but I have oftened wondered if this is a bit thin.

Steal it from your missus or buy it material shops for about $5.00 for plenty.

Quantum hot sauce grease and oil has been the best i have come across.
