I'd like to know if it's an option for adding Spell-check to all posts on Ausfish. Or is it here and not everyone knows about it? I know we all understand what members are trying to say, but I just can't stand it anymore......:furious2: :hammer: :speechless:
It's available for me, with the text generation, I think people just don't care anymore.. but I'm with you, I find it hard as well..:-/

its a pity there wasnt a Grammar, punctuation, syntax.......and sanity check available. Some posts are extremely frustrating to read.

Spell check is available.
Simply ' highlight ' the word in question and ' right click ' ya mousey thingie doova.
People either do not care about spelling, grammar etc, or type they way they talk. Then again, we are fishoes and there more important things to do than re-read our rantings before hitting the " submit " button.

You can set it up as a plugin for Firefox. Not sure with IE but I assume it is also available for it.
Just Go to Tools - Add-Ons in Firefox. Should be somethinmg similar to do it in IE.

Interestingly it has been found that the use of a spell checker is likely to improve your spelling, rather than the other way 'round.
We ALL need to go fishing...

I started this thread after trying to understand the last comment by a member wanting to buy the rims I have for sale.

this has always been a bug to me, and it is getting much worse these days, not only the text message crap like m8 and lol and stuff, but when people don't know things like their and there or wood and would, I reckon we are in for a torrid time in a few years when the bad spelling and grammar just don't mean anything, and the current generation are the teachers, Jesus we will be in deep sh!t.

Firefox does have an Australian Spell Checker ;)
try seamonkey, a firefox item, & it is included automatically plus has an option to translate foreign language pages at the click of a button..
