Solid fish Chewy, specially that first one, but unless Andy is a spitting image of his old fella, I dont see any pics of him and a bass attached to a spinnerbait??

Nice fish.
Love the surface hits! What pound line were you running?
I hear of some people goin up to 20lbs on bass :O:O
Personally i like to go light as possible usually 4-6lb..

Geez Brian,thats not like you...
Bq,it depends a bit where we are fishing and what im throwing. We go as light as 6 lb and as heavy as 20 bot mostly we use 10 or 14. We are at the moment fishin new bass water so are testing the waters.Im a but hesitant to throw an anthrax out on 6 lb as i saw some bass out of here over 60cm b4 xmas. I got wiped out a couple weeksago on my 8 wt flyrod so its a bit of a problem, fish light and lose the bigger fish or fish heavier and just make do with the surface strikes. Its hard finding a happy medium as we are finding to get hits we have to throw behind two or three lay down trees to get a hit. All good fun though.Got some ok video this morning of it

Hey Chew, Your on fire at the moment...!! well done mate. Andy is becoming a good little photographer and fisho.
Thanks for the navigational advice at deepwater the other day, however I didnt feel it nessesary that you dobbed me in to the old girl on facebook!!!;D;D
We had trouble getting livies! Spud got a 38cm jack and we had a few other bustoffs...enough to warrant another crack at it. The night before we got 2 monumental brickings and subsequent bustoffs in a new spot at Myra!! 60lb leader 30lb braid thumb on the spool of the cronarch....no chance.!! I am slightly addicted now!!;D

Yea,it gets like that. There is a spot u n spud will love when baffle clears up. If you throw ur livie too hard it will land on the taverns deck, and its 200 metres from the campstay.just a tip,we have found in a lot of the places up there, the easiest place to get livies is at the ramp b4 u put the boat in,seems they like hanging there.
