Rod Tip Repair

Fishing today and my dads rod was on the floor of the boat and some how it got stood on and tip guide got broken. i know how to put a new tip on but if i did this myself would it void the manufacturers warranty as its only two months old.

If you put the same guide on as the original who's going to know. Best to use 5min epoxy.

Mate if the original guide is buggered any decent tackle shop will fit a new one for you for about ten dollars.

Thats a real local tackle shop of course one where you get assistance from some who knows what they are doing not a chain store or ware house.

Watch where you put your bloody feet!

Mate Your rod blank is covered by warranty and the guides to a limited extent.If you remove the old tip and replace it I do not see that this would void your warranty on the blank.
