Hey
Looking at adding a GPS / Chart Plotter to my rig. Looking at the Navman Tracker 5380i Chartplotter or Northstar 538I ( Same one)
Any word on if these are ok or any issues?
Cheers,
Steve

I have the Navman 5380i and it's not bad. GPS seems to fix pretty quickly.
Display could be a little clearer though and the ability to interface with a PC would be nice.

Had 2 in different boats, both have done the job
The first unit was installed ( factory ) to close to the sounder and would often drop out. It was a matter of turning the sounder off and the unit would locate satellites again.
The second unit had the external antenna and was a little slower to locate but never dropped out

hey
The one I am looking at is $499
Cheers
My only grip with Navman is the cost of PC connectivity. The program costs about $300!! At least with Garmin they even work on the free software.
