Hi Bettsy
I was talking to a couple in the waruma fishing club and they were saying that there in a good camping area which is all the way to the water and yep your speices are spot on, dam level is 2%, they said they target the bass as they are in good numbers and of good size but barra are in there size is unsure but around the 50cm to 70cm mark at a guess due to a restock thats about it....
If you scan through the posts Lydon done a bit of a dam info post and I am sure Waruma was one of them....
Cheers Nath
Poor old Wuruma ..... It must be in a rain shadow area (2%) I was watching the dam levels rise back in March ....... even Cania got up to double figures ... but poor Wuruma - nada , zip , nothin.
Didn't the barra stocks suffer during the fish kills a couple of years back ?
From what I hear ...... it can be a good bass fishery:)
