Went to mud island chrissie eve for a quick fish and to set a few pots for some sandies.Just after sunrise a drift over a little mark i have and a nice snapper was boated.Reasonably light gear 8lb braid 10lb leader.Gulp done the trick here...nuc chick 5 inch.Happy with result @ 5.5 Kg and 78 cm.Sorry about late post could not find camera lead.Cheers

I am still to catch a good snap on my bait caster to see how the fight goes without drag noise and thumb control but still none. Good snapp for a quick flick. I seem to get the big ones in the first few drifts. I never get a good fish after hours of drifts long into the night. Cheers good fish.

Thanks Mate...that reel is a shimano curado spooled with 8lb sunline super PE braid.I dont usually use baitcasters only for dam fishing in which the curados handle big barra with ease.
