Well after the last few reports from the Nerang over the past few days i thought twice about heading down for one last trip before xmas, with Youngy not returning back with a decent feed i thought about pulling the pin,as i had this trip oranganised 4 weeks ago and with already getting up at 3am to get the grubs i had to follow through and go, well with rigs already pre made and the pliers and knife ready for all the vermin off i go with a mate from work, we left home at 8:30pm uming and aring on the way on weather to fish the C/C as we did well last time before the rain or try new ground, from all the reports of vermin at C/C, went right at the ramp up stream of IOC, first fish to the boat was a a 38cm well i thought here we go we are in for a good night and that it was, moved 5 times all night and doing youngys 20min rule after we land the last fish the total tally for the night was Vermin 2 catfish and 3 toads, Yes 51 Whiting and 9 Bream/ Grunter. we actually left them biting, but i found once they went of the bite you only had to move 20yds and you find them again. And also thanks to the guys (you know who you are) http://www.nuggetfishing.com.au/forum/Smileys/default/wink.gif for the info and pms before my trip.
