River stills needs a lot of time to clean up but its slowly getting better.Still not fishing at its best but it was the weekend for the Bisbane river classic run by BFO.The boys put a great comp this year and very well organised. A few ausfishers had nominated and fished a few seshs. Not a lot of threadie action with 1 great fish at 1.2 meters winning. Only saw a couple of others under the 90 cm mark.WE had a shot for them on friday night but we found it very quiet except for something that smacked me hard and i may have had a weak spot in my braid because on impact it broke the 10 kg braid .Not knot failure or to much drag:-/ anyway we chased mainly bream and in a couple of slow sessions ended up with around 20 plus bream with 2x 32 ,1x 37 and a lot around 26,27 and a few smaller. Garrett got 1 st prize bream and I got 2nd . Another ausfisher NeMo 84 took out 2nd prize to the 1.2 threadie with a 76 cm (I think) Jewwie again taken landbased but unfortunately after that Carlos took a spill on some rocks and cut his hand pretty deep and had to head to hospital where he still is awaiting an opperation to repair tendon damage. The competion had a boundary that didn't allow you to fish the front walls but i would have loved to have a shot out there in some cleaner water. Also just be carefull traveling around the river still as those big tides have pulled a lot of debri off the banks and caused a few mine feilds around the traps,Anyway things can only get better as time goes on.Cheers;D

yeh im all good now thanks chief, the video will have to wait cos my hand wont be fishing for awhile. Disappointed i only got to fish one session for the comp til this happened but nevertheless im happy cos i won a nice rod and a hinze dam charter too. The water as u said was really dirty and didnt help lure fishing much at all. Worked hard for that fish and my mate too got a 40cm cod. Just wish i coulda put in more time...congratulations again:)
