Just wondering where people are spending their holidays fishing and what they plan to catch?

I'm heading up to the Whitsundays to visit some friends so hopefully we get some good weather to get out past the islands. Surely the weather can't be as bad as it was down here compared to the same time last year ;D .

Me, couple of days at Evans Head eating Mum's Anzac Bickies and then a couple of days on the Goldie putting up with my pain in the A** brother in law.

Hi Kim, we will be at Evans on Tuesday 23rd through to xmas day then back for 1 or 2 nights on the 29th. I will be in my boat 4.45 seajay 40 Yamaha red Ausfish stickers in the river (Iron Gates up, chasing Jacks) or if we get out to sea, Dad's red n white Yalta 150 Yamaha (PJ II)

I have seen plenty of photos of your boat, usually with you holding a Barra, so I will keep an eye out, hope to catch up.

Cheer's Pete

BTW there are a few Muddies around, so take some traps but watch out for the robbers.

Boxing day I'll be heading out west ( Chinchilla ) to see the rest of the family.
I'll have my baitcaster and a stack of spinners for Yellowbelly and if I'm lucky, a cod.
After I get back I'll be hitting North Pine Dam to get my bass fix for a few days.
The 8th and 9th January will be fishing Lake Awoonga with a friend and my boy to have a look at a few barra.
The rest of the break will be just spending lazy days at the beach with my little bloke chasing bream or whatever else comes along.

But mainly North Pine Dam.....need more bass photos.

I will be out in the Rainbow/Myora/Blaksleys area for a few days between boxing day and new years. I'm not sure how much serious fishing will be undertaken but will try to score a feed
