The nozzle on my compressor is buggered at the moment. I can still use it by holding the hose onto the valve, but the locking part is stuffed. Does anyone know where I can buy just the nozzle? Seems like a waste to throw the hose and guage away.

If you look at the nozzle on the end of the hose here: http://www.4x4store.com.au/images/detailed/500projectatyp150.jpg

That is what I need. The spring clip part of the nozzle is busted, so wont hang onto the valve any more.

The youngins these days wouldnt even know what it is called which for reference sakes is a "thumblock", repco have always had them, perhaps one of the youngins may wish to do a search on the antiquated repco network.
If you have no luck there is a company in a few of the states called Industrial Air Fittings (I know they have a branch at Ingleburn in Sydney) who sell a solid brass style but it has no spring clip.

yep, there the ones. I get them at work and squizzy was right, you can get them from repco. I'll get you the part number as soon as I can.
We also get heavy duty ones from somewhere else, but they would be a bit big i think.

Worst part with some of them is they won't use catalogues or don't study the stock holding. If it ain't in front of them they don't have it. Lost count of how many customers I have called back after someone has said no we don't sell that

Cheers Mad

Actually Repco as a rule has little to no supplier catalogues in store any more, they have an antiquated prime computer system that was purchased from one of the major banks in the 70's and constantly has to be "band-aided" to be kept working.
It has an integrated cataloging system that works by car model and as a rule many or most accesories can only be located by a key word search.
I was an employee for a couple of years and whilst they were once a major force in the automotive industry there marketshare has dwindled as they have tried to make things easier and easier for the now majority 16year old staff.
What a shame hey.

I just squeezed the vernier calipers in between the nozzle and the hose and it read 6.9mm, so the barbed end is around 7mm. Measured the stuffed barb and it was 7.1mm, so I am guessing the hose is about 7mm internal diameter.

ok i think my hose is 5mm as my barb is 6mm
