what trebbles do you use on ya whiting and bream lures, iv been useing owner st36's and have been happy with them but is there any thing better that i could be useing, i go thurgh the owners like no tomorow as they get blunt quick and bend up bad and can snap on good fish and they rust up realy bad if ya dont look after them. is there any better???
Hi Nugg
Mate , there is not a lot of choice , specially in the sizes that you need for typical bream lures
The owners are pretty sticky ..... but thats also why they are easily rolled ( & yes they rust quickly) ....... I think Surecatch have a suitable hook in the right size that is a bit cheaper ( red anodised) ...... they are OK & do the job - but suffer the same issues ( save $2-3 a pack)

Have a look at some of the gamakatsu's
Not too sure of the model number (I will have a look tonight when i get home)
They are sticky sharp and dont seem to roll that much. But they do rust up quick if ya dont rinse them with fresh water after use.

I think they are the TWG but not sure if they come in a smaller size than a #12
