Does anyone know if Loomis's lifetime warranty covers their dodgy guides.::) Have a SW844 7ft Loomis and have replaced the tip and bottom guide already. Now I find another 3 of the guides have broken.>:( The wire ring of the guide has broken causing the ceramic ring to fall out. I could handle 1 or 2 but 5 out of 7 guides and tip is going too far.:(

Have other rods that cost a lot less and have been used a lot more and have had the same maintenance and care(washed down after each trip, dried before storing and always in a rod bag for trips away) and have had no problems.:-X

Your thoughts.

Jeff.

yea its common in loomis to have crappy guides and finish,
the carbon blank is the good bit, just a shame they couldnt get the whole thing right.

I remember when i was last looking at rods i found one that the guides didnt even line up, they were crooked.

but anyway as for the warranty,
im sure they will look at this under warranty and should be fixed.
(i dont mean the expiditer) just standard warranty
