I'm pretty new to Moreton Bay - still finding my way around. I was planning to do a loop tomorrow from Manly, through the Rous, down Rainbow Channel, south of Peel Island and back to Manly.

I've got a Beacon to Beacon and have put the waypoints from that into my handheld GPS. Is it easy enough to follow the channel markers through the Rous? Anything to look out for or be wary of? My GPS doesn't have detailed marine charts on it. I'm planning to do some trolling along the way, maybe pull up somewhere and try some pillies for mackeral. Any tips would be appreciated on that one too.

Thanks
Adam

but why not trailer the boat to victoria point and join in the meet and greet...probably pick up a lot of valuable info on fishing the bay....
