Hi TN fans,
I'm lookin for a little feedback from those who are collectors/avid fans of these lures.

I have been collecting and fishing them for over six years now,But sadly,Due to unforseen circumstances,I must REGRETFULLY part with my prized collection :'( .

I have attained 108 different patterns over the years,Including 23 Limited Edition versions,Some of which will be almost impossible to aquire today.90% of the collection is in mint condition.I have a few expendibles that are easily replaced that I fish with regularly.I still have all their boxes as well.

I have not really looked,But I have not seen,Or heard of a TN/60 collection as large as this before.Which leads me to the following.

My question for the aficionado is :-

What do you see this collection being worth?

Thanks for your thoughts. Regards B8.:(

Hey there Rick it might be worth trying to have a chat with Harry especially in regards to the limited edition ones.

I think they need more time to grow in value. Shame to sell them now. Post some pics please

There'd have to be a few grand tied up just in those lures, it's scary to think about when you add it all up, but as long as your having fun why not.......

I've been collecting lures for over 30 yrs and have many thousands.

I would suggest your TN60 collection would only be worth retail dollars at best with the possible exception of Ltd Edition depending on how many were produced. If they were produced in large numbers, then marketted & sold as Ltd Ed's then they are rather common.

Rapala for example produced many Ltd Ed lures that aren't in fact Ltd Ed's at all, therefore making them basically worthless.

You may do better if you look to sell these overseas. With the Australian dollar low the exchange rate is in your favor. So long as postage costs are low you should have no problem selling in the US. There are certainly more potential buyers and there are a few of big US forums that you can list your items for sale. Then of coarse there is trusty old ebay, though you may have to split your collection up. Food for thought, good luck with the sale.

Cheers Chris

Hardb8,
I have been collecting for around the same amount of time and have 191 different tn60's. 168 different colours over 5 models. Standard TN60, TN60 silent, TN60 tungsten, TN60 iyoken and TN60 limited sound. I have collected a lot from Japan as they have a lot more colours and styles. While the dollar was high you could get all bar the limited's for around $14 to $16 aust delivered and anywhere from $18 to $40 aust for the limited's depending on if they are limited colours or limited sounds. I would like to see what limiteds you have and discuss a price if you are keen to sell. I like to collect them but not use them. I stick with about 10 colours that i use all the time.
