Hey one and all ... ( a little bit of light hearted banter!)

One of the mates at work walked up to me today and asked if i've been fishin' lately (knowing full well I haven't ....) Over winter been a bit slack with F&H's reno which got put on hold and resorted mostly to playing golf.

Now the weathers warming up, i've gotten off my lazy bum a few weeks ago, regained enthusiasm and gotten stuck back into the reno.

Now here's the thing ..... I'm thinking because I'm in dry dock with the reno of getting some hatchlings and throwing them into a small pool that could easily be placed behind F&H.

Just picture it ..... Sunday arvo after swetting on the boat all weekend, pull up a deck chair, crack a stubby and throw in a line.....

Just realised I probably should have put this in the "General" section .... oh well :-/

I know, I know ... silly old bugger .... 8-) ;D ;)

Cheers .... have a good one

In a sort of way, I have a test tank in my yard, all Lures and stuff get a few runs in the pool, just to see how speed and retrieve impacts them, it is a bit of fun for a while, but I am also very lucky to have a Creek at the back fence as well, but it just not the same as walking along with your lure and watching it work (or not work) though the Creek has the added bonus of a Fish every now and then.

Tell you a real dry dock fishing story.. many years ago a neighbour of mine worked at Garden Island naval docks in Sydney. He was a Radar teccho.
From time to time he was in the right place at the right time when they put one of the navy ships into dry dock, and once they shut the gates and suck all the water out, it is fairly common to see fish laying around.

Brett used to bring home the occasional King fish, Bream, Flatty or even squid.
His boss scored the John Dory when it happened (once only)

Sorry, different context to yours ;D
