G'day all,
just wondering if anyone knows where I might be able to download a manual for a 55lb Endura Transom Mount that the minister for war and finances has purchased for me for Christmas as it was floor stock and the store can't find one?

Cheers

Doesn't the website have it?

Actually just checked the site and it doesn't appear so. Maybe if you send an email to their customer support and explain they'll send you one no problems.

PS - how did you go with the modifications to your boat?

Try BLA who are the distributors - i think their website is www.bla.com.au - they may be able to photocopy one for you. I tried to find one for the Riptide before I bought one - no go anywhere, but BLA Customer Service is supposed to be pretty good.

G'day folks,
well I've managed to be put in contact with BLA and they're apparently sending me a copy they had lying around the office.

G'day Steve,

mate, not a lot going on with the boat as I've been out of action for a couple of months with work and then blew my knee joint on an excursion with 17 boys and have just had surgery, so I'm not allowed to do anything, on top of that still dealing with the aftermath of the Febuary rans and insurance etc. All of which is sending me completely stir crazy.... but at least I've got my health... hahahaha! Oh, except that I still have to write report cards from home while I'm on compensation............fantastic! The student that was designing the rod locker for my boat did an average job on the whole (he tried but it just didn't come together for him) so I'll have to go in and take it out and modify it to suit and work. As for the side decks / gunnels..... well the new year is looking good but on the positive side of things my girlfriend has purchased me a 55lb transom mount Endura for the tinny that I'll mount up front. Ive seen a really cool mod for mounting them that Jeff Eales Sheetmetal does that I'm going to see about getting done.

Cheers

WHen I bought my endura 2nd hand I clicked on the 'contact us' bit on the Minn Kota USA website, and gave them my email address
A few days later someone emailed me the whole book in pdf, very happy with that for service

Yes well the February floods have taken a while to recover from for most folks. We live at Hay Point so no damage was done on that day for us.

But it was certainly a shocker for a lot in town.

I have a 55lb bow mount on mine (Seajay Escape). Works a treat, though I don't use it as much as I thought I would. My wife said to buy it when I bought the boat. "Get it now otherwise you won't get it" was her advice. Probably true too.

Haven't taken mine to the freshwater yet as Ihave been mainly around Sarina inlet/HayPoint.
