Hi all,
I've recently purchased my first boat, but unfortunately due to budget issues I had to settle for something that isn't very well suited for heading too far offshore.
If anyone, at any point in time, is heading to the sunshine coast reefs (gneerings, murphys, 12mile etc) and has a spare spot or two on their boat I would be very appreciative of an invite. (I have a couple of mates who would be keen too)
I'm more than happy to cover my share of the costs and I have no problem in helping you with cleaning your boat etc upon return.
I have a couple of rods that I think should do the trick... A Penn Slammer 7' 6-10kg mated to a Penn captiva cv6000 with 20lb line and a 5'6" ugly stick which I intend to mate to a charter special or TLD20, likely with 30lb line.
Anything else that I need I'm fully prepared to purchase, if I don't already have it. I have no intention of enjoying a good days fishing at the expense of others!
Cheers :)
Matt.
