Hello world,

I am thinking aout going up to King Ash Bay via Booraloola (I think thats how its spelt) anyway was wondering if anybody has towed a glass boat that sort of distance about 2200km each way from Brisbane. If so what sort of precautions you took to protect the glass while being on the road that long etc. also is it worth going off shore up that part of the world or is it safer to stay within the river system.
Regards

the only bit of dirt you will travel on is the 45 kays from the loo to king ash bay.
From barkly road house to the loo is a lot of one lane tar.
maybe a bit of shade cloth across the front would do the job.
Just poke along steady and you should be right.
It is a must to get out among the islands out there.
Do your self a favour and buy the North Australian Fish Finder Book it has all the
spots in it and very accurate. cheers
