Does anyone know where I can buy a shimano catana 5-10kg rod around brisbane? Also has anyone had any experience with this rod, it dosen't have to be the same line class.

I've got the 6'8" 5-10kg Catana. 2 piece spin rod with a shorter butt than usual rods of this size and line class. very good for plastics and lure fishing for Barra, Jacks, XOS Flathead and Snapper. We took 2 overseas to the Solomon islands, broke one way too easily, the other got worked hard, caught some good fish, mac tuna, bonito, shark mackerel etc. Returned the broken one and it was replaced under warranty, had a fault in the blank. otherwise they are great rods for $50. good value for money.

Cheers Roo
