Was fishing last Monday and Big Foot ( Me ) stood on my nitro rod and shortened it by about 6 inches.
Rod is about 18 months old and I vaguely remember it having a warranty.
I couldn't locate the receipt or the warranty card but rang manufacturer.
The were very helpful . Asked me where I lived and told me the closest retailer and said that warranty is lifetime and to take it along and new one would be supplied for a service fee of $60 which is a lot cheaper than a newie.
Took both sections along to Fishhead at Viccy Point and boom bang on computer and was told they would ring when new tip section ( Rod is 2 piece )arrives.
So if you are looking for new rod seriously think of a nitro and they are an Aussie mob.
Cheers
Ray

I have had the same experience.

Was fishing at shallow tempest when a bloody huge sea turtle decides to eat my 7" jerk shad. After about a half hour fight the hook on the jig head straightens out and my beloved nitro rod snaps two thirds of the way up.

Took it to where i bought it $60 later and a brand new rod section.

Very good rods very happy with mine.
