ugly stiks-can`t beat em

i have been looking for a new rod 6-10 kg for floating pillies with my 7000 size abu and calcutta reels.
my old 10kg ugly that is about 26 years old, metal reel seat, soft parabolic curve, 5ft6, is still going strong, but would like something with a graphite reel seat, bit lighter in the tip, and a bit faster taper. well after looking around for a couple of weeks, i have found it. a 10-15 kg ugly stick and it is only $70.00.

I have a few uglies and while i treat my full carbon rods with a lot more care, they just don`t seem to last as long.

Yeah another Ugly fan hear Reggie with four of my own, there are certainly better quality rods around, but the old Uglys really deliver the goods for the price.

great rod for constant use and a little abuse...

They make a new one now with a graphite core called the blue water I am about to get a 15-25kg and put a torsa 20 with it I hope it is as tough as the old ones I have

Dont bother with the mart with a ks uglys they may be cheaper on the shelf but they are not the same rods (cheap chineese brand x runners),Stick with a tackleo for the real ones
