G'day 3rd D. we called them @ about45kg 40kg 35kg we got smaller down first to last.I suppose if we could have kept catching them the last one would have been the size of a gar.::)

Whats your preference iin getting them to the spread?

I've just bought a witch doctor but haven't tested it yet.

Johnob most of the shots came on the side of the boat where we were running a spreader bar with plastic squid.
Cheers.

Johno

Sailfish love splashy teasers - birds, spreader bars coke cans run backwards.

Witchdoctor is good, would leave it in the water too.

Good luck

Hi Johno, Sails and blacks are teased up in different ways but in saying that it all depends on the food they're feeding on at the time. The good old Witchdoctor has performed well for hundreds of anglers over the years, just make sure you use a heavy stainless swivel and cord or it will be a short lived and expensive exersize. The Birds work better if your just targeting Sails though and much cheeper.
