Hi again,
Just wondering if the tailor are still around Teewah. May go through on Sunday.
In fact not sure where to go for a day, and hopefully get a tailor or three.
Anyone with ideas?????

Straddie is also an option. Depending where you come from it may not be much more than a trip to Teewah. If you live in the eastern suburbs of brisbane it won't cost you much fuel to get to straddie, but will cost you $130 barge (and $45 permit if you don't have one). Teewah could easily cost $80 in fuel plus $10 barge.
Straddie will be quieter on the weekend than teewah but I couldn't guarantee you'll get tailor.

I am in Gympie, so Teewah is not such a long way. Noosa river was OK, but the fishing seems to have tapered off. Rainbow Beach was as dead as!!
Thanks for info.

Seaking, it has been very poor along Teewah and Rainbow, but some fish are starting to come back into the gutters after an algal bloom. Was tailor north of Teewah last night and I would suggest closer to Double Island would be the area to look for them as another algal bloom is growing northward from south of Teewah this afternoon. Is whiting, dart and tarwhine being caught north of Teewah as of wednesday also.
