well at last a day when the wind wasn't blowing 20-25 knots 27 th of sept. saterday morning left manly at 3.30 whent through the bar before daylight to get to the bait ground crackling light ....no bait ok went up to hendersons thought the bit of a blow mayhave stirred thing but not really. although i am a bit of a green horn, need one of those t shirts not a good fisherman hehehe.
whent out to 80 mtres found some structure and cought 5 snapper not real big ones but all fair sized 50.cm give and take 10

still not a bad effort for a one up trip, especially for a 'green horn'. Thats how I learnt my offshore fishing - going one up in your own boat - though I usually had a couple of mates doing the same thing close by so that if someone got in trouble help was close at hand - and i could tell some stories about those circumstances - lol.
Well done Pat and keep the reports coming.

Gotta love the solo trips when you can or have to. No one to argue with on any subject and the buck stops there.

Good report with a damn good catch in my books.
