Hi All,
While driving past the Pelican Park Boat Ramp this morning i noticed some work going on so i drove in to see what was happening :o
Well, suprise, suprise, they have started work on a series of pontoons beside the ramp 8-)
It is reportedly going out about 30 meters from the shore with a return end going back towards the information centre :o
Be finished in about 1 month 8-)
At last, hurrrrrrrraaaaaay.
Cheers,
John

Well i hope they are dreging it at the same time or it is a waste of money as there is no water there at low tide to get to the pontoons, as any one who uses the ramp will tell you, if they are puting it the toilet side of the ramp then it will need dredging i have seen the water go right out from the wall, before they put the little harbour in there you had to back the car out on sand to where the ramp is now so it has always been a shallow area. and now is full of slimey black mud. but it is well overdue
