out of the box.. about 6lbs.
i just checked and tested the 2lb on my terria 1500 and it broke at 1.9 kg on dead weight, and it broke at the knot. so the lines only as strong as its knot strength.

Not sure but is very strong for its size and awesome line. I took all the sunline super pe off my stella and aspire and put it on. It is awesome line for surface lures.

why is it sold as 2lb when it breaks at a higher rate?
if it breaks at 4lb then sell it as 4lb, same as any other rating in braid

Berkley obviously have little confidence in its strength, so have to overstate its b/s to cover any inconsistencies that cause it to be weaker in areas. ::)

hence the "Now even stronger!"
i always use to wonder how why they would want to make 2lb stronger.::)
