Spent Tuesday at Southbank with 2 of the grandkids and took a citycat ride up and down the old brissy river .
What a treat , as I havn't been on the river for over 50 years I can't remember seeing this river in better looking condition.
Is it due to the stopping of dredging etc ? whatever it is I reckon it's a credit to those responsible.
I can remember fishing with my dad and his cousin at the water outlet at Tennyson power station (for mullet and shark )and under Indooroopilly bridge for jewfish .
How does it fish now or is the pollution still affecting the angling scene ?
cheers Terry
