i took my kayak out for the first time in wat seems like AGES! drifted up stream for a few hours before i relised how hard it gonna be paddling back against the wind. and it was.

ended up with just two undersized duskys and really sore arms.

good on you for getting out there JJJJ...besides the wind...was it a lovely day???...what bait or placcie did you use???

both fish fell to gulp shrimps just at the mouth of one of those little creeks up stream from the boat ramp. a couple of other kayakers said there was 1 meter waves crashing over the sand bank down at jacksons creek.... ( is it called jacksons creek?)
