ive bougt a pack of 50 gamakatsu hooks for making jigheads but i want to make them all hidden weight (like the tt's have) and was wondering what sort of wire i can use that is quite heave but easy enought to wrap around the shank of the hook. i cant use normal wire as it rust very quick then passes though to the hook untill it snaps.
also can someone tell me were to get some sort of sticky weight?

Check out a shop with plenty of fly tying equipment. I used to use some lead wire that was wrapped around the shank of the hook before tying the fly materials on.

Failing that, buy some lead sheet from hardware shop, cut into strips and wrap them around the hook.

bream nut try using split shot leads and gentlly working them around your hook with a small craft/kids toy hammer.

bcf sells sticky wieght stuff . you could try wraping solder wire around the shank of the hooks and heating it up to make it stick , i have not tried it but its worth a shot .
