Greetings all!
Does anyone use Gulp beachworms or ragworms as normal bait on a hook?
If so, what species for and how do they go?
Could you thread a few along the line with a baiting needle and pull them down over a tied on hook, to use for jewies?
As a pommie I never learned to catch beachworms.
Thanks, Rob.
Ballina.

u could give em a go.......gulp have the scent mate and if u think about it a real sandworm does not swim along like a bait fish, i think the current, waves and wash should give u all the action u need.

Pommie
I have used them purely as bait on whiting in Moreton bay and they go mad on them. I just put about 3cm on a normal whiting hook and drift fish. Have caught some great hauls like this, so have other Ausfishers. Also quite a few flathead, no large ones tho yet. And a huge ray!Research trough threads and you will get more info. I havent tried them anywhere else on other species yet, too busy using the Gulp minnows and shrimps for bream and flattys.
