im looking at getting a new reel in the 2500 size and i want to no how has ya twin power been going for you(if you have one that is). i have a sol 2000 that i love (great for bream) but the line roller is noisy as, this is the only thing wrong with it so far and id like to here if you guys have had any trubble from the twins as i do need a bigger reel in the 2500 size for my new custom rod and i might be able to score one cheap.

I have one nuggs. Really smooth and pulls fish up nicely, great for throwing plastics all day, but still has plenty of stopping power. The rubber on the handle has gone all sticky and wierd though, maybe from oil, I usually give them a squirt of inox when I'm done with em. If you are coming down for a fish with Nico again, you can grab it for a test drive if you want.

Had mine for about a year and very happy with it. I use mine for shallow water snapper fishing and load it with 15lb braid. Handles big fish no worries and still as smooth as the day I bought it.

ive had the 1000 twin power now for nearly 2 yrs and love it. 2500 would be great.

about ur sol, almost all my reels have had noisy line roller bearings at one stage. give it a drop of reel oil, or even a little lanolin grease. if its till noisy order a new bearing.

i have the sol 2500 that i have loaded with 15lb braid and use for jew and reds. love it. 7kg drag rating ;D not that i push it to that much

I picked up one second hand and have had no issues with it at all.
My bro has one also and he did have a small issue with it new, but fixed and returned within a week.
We both have 4000 size Twinnies also, great stuff.
