hey all,
finally booked a fishing trip to QLD before baby making.....my girl is beggin for it!
so this is my last chance for a southerner to have some fun before life is over...well, fishing life that is.
wouldn't mind some tips/suggestions on 1770 and surrounds. we will be there in september a week. we will be fishing out of a 490 top-ender.
so here goes,
1) is middle creek easily accessible from ocean at low tide?
do i need to be weary if i venture in?
2) is eurimbula any good for a boat this size?
worth fishing?
3) DEEPWATER CREEK, can we get in there?
i drove past there 6 years ago and briefly spoke to an old local who complained about red bream with teeth busting him up::)
i have fished for jacks for the last 4 years (when possible for a sydney fool) and only received a few "expected" bust-offs and thats it. spent atleast 100hours staring at a float with anticipation for zero results. kills me.
4) i know good inshore/offshore gps marks are a well guarded secret but we plan on trying for trout, cobes & well......whatever is available out there as this also high on the "need to do list" before fishing life is over.
any suggestions on techniques on this area.
if needed i can meet up and feed you beer;) this IS something that i do know how to do......very well.
