I am intending to head out to wet a line this evening out behind Green and StHelena. Not having tried that particular spot at night I was wondering if anyone could give me a bit of advice.

I have recce'd it during the daytime and noticed that the depth rops off from 7 to about 13 metres. Is it better to fish deeper or shallower.

Bait?

I am not overly fussed about what I catch...

If bait, float out Pillies and squid. As little weight as possible. Sinker straight on hook and get a Burley trail going
There is a Rock wall exposed on St Hel in the sort of S/E corner. Pretty close to that, further North or towards Mud Is there is some good ground and Eddys that hold bait.
The Snap in my avatar came from St Helena
Good Luck
