Morning everyone,

Just after advice on Yellowtail + or Tailor.

Ive recently got my tinny set up with a live bait tank, but with putting my tinny in at como bridge, getting out to the one known spot where i can get live bait (captain cook bridge) takes too long with my 6hpr motor.

My question is, how can you tell if live bait are around, or where would you suggest having a go.

Where do they like to hang out Structure? Boat morings? pylons?

Cheers.

Yakka's like structure and piers, just go to your local pier with some peeled prawn and a bait jig :)

Good Luck and Cheers Tom

Try around the end of the last runway wall in the Bay. Lots of berley. You will get yakkas as well as lots of trevally. I doubt you will get yakkas as far up as Como. Might be better chasing mullet for livies up there.

These guys here will know the area better
