Finally after 2 days of fishing i caught a bream and a nice one at that on a atomic 3 inch prong. Measured 29 cm in the fork of the tail. Was getting heaps of bites around structure and i can now understand the lighter the jig head the better. The fish hit it as it was sinking down.

Well done mate, Now you will be hooked on plastics. I can still remember my first bream on plastic, a good number of years ago now and fish only with plastic these days.

It's incredible the number of species that you can target with plastic.

Once again mate, well done and keep it going.

Cheers,
John.

well done mate. I only recently caught my first bream and a plastic and it was very satisfying. You will be as keen as ever now to keep giving it a try and you will continue to learn and perfect it. Each species you get on a different type of lure or plastic is always a benchmark day. Dont forget that the days of major disappointmnet and frustration will also still be there.
cheers - Richard

Good fish and it took me a while before i got the brim style way of catchin the finiky buggers. When they nibble they just can't seem to make up there minds at times.
