Because of the wind I felt the only real chance of fish today was somewhere sheltered so I headed down to Boggy Creek for a short spell. Arrived about 10.00 am and started to flick the Gulp Shrimp around under the Bridge and on both edges of the main channel. No luck for an hour and of course I lost about three jigheads to the snags. I moved along the bank a bit and switched to a heavier 1/4 jighead and changed to a 3" Pumpkinseed Minnow shape. After a few flicks I was on to a flathead - he was very close into the bank and pretty sluggish - perhaps he was cold!. Easily landed and finished up with the last of the weekends Bream fillets in a fish stew tonight. 47 cm - beautiful day but oh so cold.

I look upon the crude oil and sewage as a form of seasoning!
