G'Day Ausfishers.

This post is a little overdue because of computer problems. Went for a fish in the Pine on Saturday with wife and the 2 thumbsuckers. Launched at Deepwater bend around 10am and went downstream to a spot I have had some success at previously. Anchored next to a drop off and put out a berley trail at the start of the run out. In about 45 minutes we had 3 flatties between 41 and 50cm and a bit later we caught a tailor at 40cm. Every time I gave the berley a hit the bites seemed to follow. All caught on pillies and prawns. Nothing on plastics. Home by 2.00pm to start cooking dinner.

Cheers
Steve

Thanks for the report - I haven't read many from the Pine lately so it is good to know there are still a few fish around.

Thanks for the responses.

Chiefsimo - I was using old pilchards, bread and tuna oil.
