right next to the little bridge to the BP refinery there used to be a bluemetal gravel ramp of sorts. It was littered around the base of it with all sorts of discarded car parts etc 10 yrs ago.

The ramp itself is not to bad there is a lot of rocks there that will stop you getting bogged. The creek is the problem, there is not much water at low tide and the channel is hard to follow, ok for tinnies up to 14 feet or so, but i would not like to try it in anything bigger.

Ratking, not sure where you're planning on fishing, but Nudgee boat ramp is a good option for access to the bay. Distance from Nudgee ramp to Mud is very similar distance as from Pinkenba ramp to mud - I think there's about 1 kilometer in it (according to google earth)

On a very low tide it does get a bit shallow, but I'd be surprised if you had any real problems.

Ramp itself is excellent
