got given one of these thigs today 40g supposed to be absolute snapper slayers, to rod actions needed just a slow roll

I saw the guys on fishing WA using them, Ryan, had them attached to a paternosta rig and was using them like a soft plastic..

40g is bloody heavy, i figure they are probably more suitable for offshore than bay fishing.

Dave Butfield was using a similar thing on his show, a product by Daiwa
Seemed to work but like Plaztix's said a little heavy

just spoke to a few guys who had been using them today and apparently the 60g work better then the 40 in in only 20m of water, they also said works best on just a slow role, apparebtly i shouldnt use em out wide cause of all the lether jacket hahah

Yeah I saw those on Butfields show too, but I thought the weights would be too much for in the bay. Keen to see how you go though, keep us posted Breamnut.
