Spotty Macks

I've got good quality spotty mackeral around Mackay and Sarina in July& August.
Do these fellas travel this way during winter then head south again through the warmer months,I've heard a few different stories.

Hi riffraff

I thought they spawn in northern Queensland in spring and then migrate south. They generally reach SE Queensland around November/December. Some tagging reseach found they travel a mean distance of 202km with the maximum at 1100km.
