Spent a very cold Saturday night off Macleay Island for little reward. But what I did get was a small Hairtail around 60-70cm. Are these very common here as the only place I have heard of them was around my old stomping ground at Newcastle Harbour or further south.:-/ Magnificent looking fish and very tasty.
I had the pleasure of only catching 2 wobys
and a small squire off green sat night.
what a joke.
Boat did not even turn all night - crap tides :(

Apparently so lump. There was a thread with a report of some around the Jacob's Well a few weeks ago.
