Has anybody heard about BRP using there other brand name, Johnson for bringing out Rotax 4 strokes outboards. I read about it on another forum ages ago, but was just wondering if anyone else has heard anything recently? I know the below are for PWC, but would it take much work to put them into an outboard?

The ingenious 4-TEC engine concept offers the consumer unique features:

low-maintenance, easy-to-useThe first engine in this family, the 3-cylinder 1500 cc watercraft engine, redefined the whole PWC industry. Now available in a range up to 215 horsepower, it proved that low emissions and low sound levels were indeed compatible with the best available power.
Advanced 2-TEC technology brings 2-stroke engines to the next level
Certain applications require a specific power-to-weight ratio along with reduced emission and sound levels. For these particular applications BRP-Rotax has introduced an advanced two-stroke engine technology, which is superior to conventional two-stroke engines by significantly reduced sound and fuel emissions combined with an optimized power-to-weight ratio and light weight.
