Trailer Repairs ! Who pays to get them done?

Just wondering how many people pay to get there trailers repaired and who does not, And weather anyone realiese that if their trailer is not roadworthy then their boat is not covered by insurance.

There is no way that anyone; given the weather that we sometimes get and the accompanying conditions on our roads; whether they live in the city or the bush would not keep their trailer in a roadworthy condition, would they?

Whether the repairs and maintenance are done on their own or there is an opportunity or choice to use pros probably depends on where they are and if they were trained to do the job or maybe they just havn't got the time.

Personally I do on both counts.

My trailer had a couple of small cracks appearing in some welds, i rang Belco and they said bring it in and we will fix it. It cost me nothing and it was 4 years old at the time.

P.S. My trailer is 100% roadworthy.
